Short biography Fabio Baronio was born in
Brescia (Italy). In March 2001, he received
the Laurea degree (BS, MS) in Electronic Engineering (summa cum laude)
from the University of Brescia, Italy. In March 2005 he received the
PhD degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the
University of Padua, Italy.
From March 2005 he is a Permanent Researcher in Electromagnetic Fields at the University of Brescia. From 2005 he is Professor of Optical Communication Network at University of Brescia. From October 2007 he is Delegate in the Board of Directors of the University of Brescia. The scientific research activity of Fabio Baronio deals with Electromagnetism, Photonics, Telecommunications and Intensive Care Medicine. He has authored or co-authored more than 80 papers and conference contributions. He worked in the framework of projects granted by the European Community and granted by the Italian Ministry for Scientific Research. He is an Editorial Board Member of the Open Optics Journal, Bentham Science Publishers Ltd. He is member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), of the Optical Society of America (OSA) and of the Italian Society of Electromagnetism (SIEM). |
